 A new body of work is the cross breeding of two artists, a wood sculptor (Ron Fleming) and a painter (Linda Stilley) who are influenced by the sacred in the natural world. A long term–friendship and mutual regard for the work of the other, a collaboration evolved. The partnership produced eloquently crafted forms on exotic woods with nontraditional surface treatments and natural adornments. As a result, sacred hybrids merge and emerge from the two working together. |
