Casco Antiguo
Architectural remains of a time gone by are seen the Casco Antiguo area. And,
these beautiful buildings and parks are being restored and modernized to create
one of the most beautiful and quaint areas of Panama City.
A fine example of the renaissance that is happening in Casco Antiguo is the
presidential palace that is the home of the President of Panama.
The area reminds one of the relaxed and romantic atmosphere of times gone by but
can still be experienced today. Children and adults enjoying the tree shaded
parks, artist selling their creations, modern restaurants and night clubs are
all part of the current Casco Antiguo scene.
